What is Cubic Zirconia?

Ever gone to purchase a piece of jewelry from us with stones in it and wonder what on Earth it is? Have diamonds really gotten that cheap? Enter: cubic zirconia.

One of our main jewelry suppliers Boru describes the stone as, "a stone of clarity and creativity". Unlike diamonds that are naturally occuring in nature, cubic zirconia is man-made. Made by melting the powder form of zirconium dioxide, the gem is denser than diamond but offers a similar look.
